1. How do I register for a youth sport/activity?

The Council Bluffs Parks and Recreation Department offers many youth sports and has downloadable registration forms on each sports webpage. Forms can be mailed in or dropped off at the Park and Rec office along with the registration fee. 2. How do I know if a game has been canceled due to inclement weather?

You can call the rainout line, 712-328-4680, after 3pm to see if games are still on or have been canceled. We do not cancel games due to heat.

3. How do a rent a field for a game or practice?

We rent out several ballfields and soccer fields for practices and games for Council Bluffs Parks & Recreation teams. Coaches can rent up to 2, 2-hr practice fields at a time for $4/each. You must pay for them at the Park & Rec office at the time of reservation and pick up your permit. If a field is not rented then they are available first-come, first-serve. Field Permit Rentals

4. How do I rent the CB Rec Complex for a game or tournament?

5. How do I rent Bayliss Park?

6. How do I rent Bayliss Hall?

7. If we don't see find a sport for our child's age where can we go to play?

Council Bluffs Parks & Recreation focuses on fundamental skill building and recreational sports, mostly for K-3rd graders. 8. How do I rent a shelter at a park?

All the shelters in the Council Bluffs parks system are first-come, first-serve. We do not take reservations. The shelter at Lake Manawa are reservable and can be done by contacting the Iowa DNR at 712-366-0220.

9. Where can I camp in Council Bluffs?
