How can I find out how my property is zoned?
Zoning information is available online through the Pottawattamie County Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Department website listed below. Zoning information can be obtained by searching for a property by owner name, address and/or legal description and then selecting the "City Zoning Layer' from the list of available map layers. Additionally, you can contact the Community Development Department and provide the legal description and/or the common property address. Please note that the tax assessment classification information available online is not the same as a City zoning classification.Pottawattamie County GIS
