The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and City of Council Bluffs have scheduled a public meeting to discuss tips and techniques that residents can use to reduce the negative impact that deer and wild turkey have on their property.
Open to the Public
Thursday, April 13 @ 5:30 p.m.
Community Hall – 205 South Main Street, Council Bluffs
Andy Kellner, depredation biologist for the Iowa DNR, will present scare tactics, landscaping choices, and other techniques to minimize wildlife impacts. “These animals are a highly valued public resource in Iowa,” said Kellner. “However, in urban settings these animals can become a nuisance.” Kellner will also be available for one-on-one questions.
