[ARCHIVED] Labor Day Trash and Yard Waste Collection Changes

Trash and Yard Waste Co-collection

Due to the Labor Day holiday, collection will be delayed by one day next week, with Friday’s collection occurring on Saturday.   Collection routes will still begin at 6:00 am.  Please set out your trash, yard waste, and recycling by 6:00 am to ensure collection.

In order to increase collection efficiencies and overcome continued staffing shortages, trash and yard waste may be collected in the same collection truck next week.  Mixed trash and yard waste will be disposed of in a landfill with methane gas recovery that is purified into renewable natural gas.  Please continue to separate yard waste from trash; mixed collection is a temporary measure for the week of Labor Day.

Until further notice, please continue to place your materials out on your normal collection day and leave them out until they are collected.  Thank you for your continued patience as Waste Connections works through staffing issues.
