The Council Bluffs Police Department will be hosting the 2020 National Night Out takes place on Tuesday, October 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Lake Manawa North Shore Park (4200 South 11th Street).
In an effort to keep everyone at the event healthy, there will not be a cookout this year, but pre-packaged food will be available! We have free T-shirts, bicycle raffles, and other giveaways. National Night Out is an excellent opportunity for your friends and family to meet personnel from our metro area law enforcement. Vehicles, equipment, and K-9’s from CBPD, Pott. Co. Sheriff’s, ISP, Iowa DNR, CBFD, Pott. Co. EMA, Pott. Co. will be present to interact with folks and showcase various specialties.
This is an outdoor event with plenty of space for social distancing. We encourage the use of face masks, especially when you are within 6 feet of people outside your household. We are keeping in touch with Pottawattamie County Health Department. The Health Department is providing hand sanitizer, and there will be sanitizing stations throughout the event area.
