Advance Southwest Iowa (ASWI)

Advance Southwest Iowa Corporation ("Advance') is a regional economic development organization that represents Pottawattamie, Mills and Harrison counties in Iowa.  Advance partners with Western Iowa Development Association, Mills County Economic Development Foundation, Harrison County Economic Development Corporation, the Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Omaha Economic Development Partnership to provide a one-stop shop for economic development needs in Southwest Iowa. Advance and their partners focus on business development, talent recruitment, entrepreneurship and site development.  Advance's economic development initiatives are supported by the City of Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County, Iowa Economic Development Authority, Black Hills Energy, MidAmerican Energy, Iowa Western Community College and the Iowa West Foundation.
