2023-2024 Proficiency Test Dates
All hunters wanting to hunt in the 2023-2024 Council Bluffs Bow Hunting season must test on one of the following dates at the Council Bluffs Recycling Center located at 4441 Gifford Rd.
- August 20, 2023 (3 pm - 5 pm)
- August 27, 2023 (3 pm - 5 pm)
Bow Hunting Guidelines and Rules for the 2023-2024 Season
- Deer Season - running from September 16, 2023 – January 10, 2024
- First Turkey Season - October 1 – December 1, 2023
- Second Turkey Season - December 18, 2023 – January 10, 2024
