The Council Bluffs Recycling Center recycles tires for a fee of $250.00 per ton, with or without rims. If Recycling Center staff has to stack the tires, the charge increases to $500.00 per ton.
As a reference, an average car tire is 14-inches and costs approximately $3.00 to recycle, without a rim.
