Council Bluffs Parks, Recreation, and Public Property Department is dedicated to the enhancement and promotion of quality of life by satisfying and responding to the needs of the community by providing:

RIVER'S EDGE PARK GRAND OPENING - MAY 25, 2013

Dedicated to the principle of maintaining Council Bluffs riverfront as a "green" place, River's Edge Park protects and sustains the river's riparian woodland and wetlands by preserving over 80 acres of the park in its natural condition,

carving from these natural areas a simple but grand public open space which accommodates both community use and opportunities for residents and visitor to come together and celebrate on the banks of the Missouri River.  For more information on park events visit the River's Edge Park page.
