Overview
The City Planning Commission is an eleven member board whose primary job is to provide recommendations to the Mayor and City Council on policies related to land use, development and planning within the community.

The primary responsibilities of the City Planning Commission are to prepare and maintain the City's Comprehensive Plan and to provide recommendations to the Mayor and City Council on the following:

Capital improvement expenditures;

Development plan proposals;

Rezoning requests;

Street and alley vacations;

Subdivision approvals;and

Text changes to the Zoning Ordinance.

6:00 p.m.

2^nd Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise noted on the annual Planning Commission Meeting Schedule.
