Council Bluffs Parks & Recreation rents out baseball, soccer, and football fields for practices and games.  Other park amenities like shelters, playgrounds, and tennis courts are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  The Iowa DNR at Lake Manawa does rent our their 6 shelters on the south side of the park and can be reserved by calling 712-366-0220.

Field Rentals for Practice
Permits are required to reserve Parks and Recreation fields. Council Bluffs Recreation Complex is NOT available for practice rental. Permit Limits: TWO two-hour permits may be purchased at one time and not exceeding two at any given time per team. Permits will be rescheduled, but not refunded, in the event of inclement weather. Permits are issued in person only, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Rates for Council Bluffs Parks and Recreation teams (including CBYSA)

• 1/2 soccer field, or a baseball field, or tennis court - $4.00
• Whole soccer field - $6.00

Rates for Non-Council Bluffs Parks and Recreation teams

• 1/2 soccer field - $7.00
• Whole soccer field or baseball field - $14.00
