Civil Rights Commission
This Commission is comprised of nine members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council to secure freedom from discrimination for all individuals within its jurisdiction.  The Commission is an impartial Investigative Agency, which seeks to determine if a person was treated unfairly in violation of the Council Bluffs Municipal Code we enforce. We provide free assistance to those who experience discrimination and are available to any one regardless of citizenship or status.

  • Typically the 2nd Monday of alternate months (January, March, May, July, September and November)
  • 4:30 p.m.
  • City Hall, 209 Pearl Street-3rd Floor, HR Conference Room
