100 Block Parties Continue

One year ago the Mayor’s Office, along with its partners, announced the community’s new image campaign: Unlike Anywhere Else. On Purpose.

Through the development of the image campaign, we learned that residents want more opportunities to connect and celebrate with their neighbors. And so began the 100 Block Parties; a year-long initiative encouraging Council Bluffs residents, businesses, organizations, and schools to get people together. Spring has sprung and now is the perfect time to have a party!

Mayor Walsh said almost any event could be considered a block party. "Of course we want you to think of your next-door neighbors," he said. "But block parties can, and should, extend to your neighbors at work, school and other community organizations."
