Long Term Disability

The City provides all employees other than Police and Fire sworn employees with long term disability coverage through Standard Life. This policy has an 180 day elimination period and benefits for a disabled employee are paid at 66 2/3 % of base wages. The benefit is coordinated with all other sources of income and has a minimum benefit of $100 per month. The Summary Plan Document for LTD benefits is provided below.
